Clase Azul Ultra is exquisitely complex tequila, matured for five years, first in American whiskey casks, then separated into amontillado, oloroso and pedro ximénez sherry casks before being recombined. This kind of ageing bestows rich notes of dried plum, cinnamon, vanilla and candied ginger. Dark amber color and full body, with aroma of sherry, dried plum and cherries. On the palate notes of dried plum, cinnamon, cacao and clove dominate, with hints of tobacco. The finish is long with notes of dried plum and caramelized walnut.
