Gladiator is a refined red cuvée that combines the best of Croatian varieties Plavac Mali and Crljenak with the international Merlot and Syrah. The grapes come from the Punta Skala and Zaton sites, where specific terroir conditions provide exceptional concentration and character. After harvest, each variety macerated separately for about ten days in stainless steel tanks, then matured for ten months in 500-liter French oak barrels. The final blending lasted at least one year in stainless steel, while the total aging in barrique barrels extended to 24 months.
The wine is distinguished by its deep ruby-red color, clarity, and density, leaving a strong and powerful impression at first glance. On the nose, it opens with a luxurious explosion of ripe fruit and warm character, dominated by notes of plum, spices, vanilla, and coffee. On the palate, it is full-bodied and powerful, with very good structure and harmonious freshness, featuring medium-intensity tannins that are beautifully integrated. A long and impressive finish completes this complex and elegant wine.
