Glenmorangie Harrison Ford Limited Edition

Glenmorangie Harrison Ford is a new limited edition single malt whisky created in collaboration with legendary actor Harrison Ford and Dr. Bill Lumsden, whisky director at Glenmorangie distillery. Created according to Harrison Ford’s personal preferences, this unique whisky combines classic Glenmorangie aged in bourbon casks with whisky partially matured in toasted Portuguese red wine casks.
With an intense amber color and the distinctive Glenmorangie style, with an intriguing, rich and spicy character. Brim full of tangy, zesty citrus fruits, reminiscent of orange breakfast marmalade, along with some distinctive floral notes, like honeysuckle and jasmine. There is also a curious note like beeswax, or scented candles, and with a splash of water, more perfumes notes emerge, like peach blossom and vanilla.
The mouthfeel has a real bite to it, as lively citrus fruit notes are encountered. Notes of Seville orange, lemon and grapefruit dominate the palate, along with softer notes of baked bread, apricot, muscovado sugar and butter candy. 
The finish is long, with flavours of orange oil, leather and oak tannin.
