Glenmorangie The Nectar D'Or is a whisky of a beautiful golden color, with a very rich flavor of sweet spices and gingerbread. Its creamy texture comes from fourteen years of aging in ex-bourbon casks. The distinctive, luxurious, and sweet taste is achieved through a final two-year maturation in specially selected casks from Sauternes and Monbazillac, the most renowned French regions for producing sweet wines. On the nose, it reveals pastry notes of brioche, lime and orange zest, dried raisins, and dates, which give it a rich fruity character with hints of coconut and nutmeg. The palate features ginger and toasted almonds, accompanied by sweet honey notes that add extra depth. The finish is long and exceptionally sweet, infused with flavors of white chocolate and vanilla, and subtle traces of lemon zest and ginger.
