Krug Vintage 2013 reflects the unique character of a cool, rainy year, whose late autumn harvest resulted in a champagne of exceptional freshness and vibrant citrus elegance. In this vintage, Chardonnay leads the aromatic profile, while carefully selected Pinot Noir and Meunier enhance its purity and precision. For this reason, Krug's Tasting Committee nicknamed this vintage "Exalted Citrus".

Krug 2013 is a blend of 41% Pinot Noir, 38% Chardonnay and 21% Meunier. On the nose, it reveals lively notes of lemon and bitter orange that gradually unfold into aromas of candied citrus, toasted almonds and honey. The palate is precise and remarkably fresh, layered with flavours of lemon, blood orange, grapefruit and tangerine. Full-bodied with a beautifully defined structure, it offers a long, intense finish that perfectly reflects the distinctive style of the House of Krug.
