The newer sparkling wine of the Kurtalj winery is made, as we learn, after a professional trip to Champagne, France. It will be less surprising, therefore, that it is made of chardonnay and pinot black, but Kurtalj has already proven himself a sparkling wine even before this last act. I say "deed" because really, after more than 4 years of aging, this is a masterful sparkling wine. It is very rich and developed, so I would recommend it with selected foods even sooner. Aromas of apricots, mirabell plums, green apples, white flowers, baked biscuits with candied fruits.
