Bire Grk

Golden yellow color, with pronounced aromas of ripe fruit such as pear, apple and apricot with light herbal notes of Dalmatian herbs. In the mouth, the wine is very elegant and creamy, and yet with a sufficiently pronounced freshness and with a characteristic bitterness, which is probably responsible for the very name of the variety. Rich and long-lasting taste, with a nice balance between freshness and strength. Grk is a very rare Croatian autochthonous variety, which prefers sandy soil, and is closely related to the Lumbarda area on Korčula. On Korčula, only about 15 hectares of vineyards have been planted with Grk, and only 40,000 bottles of wine of this variety are produced annually, so it is not surprising that it is so sought after and appreciated.
