Weather in 2019 was marked by abundant rain during the spring, followed by a warm summer. The 2019 vintage is a blend of five varieties, mostly Cabernet Sauvignon, followed by Merlot, Petit Verdot, Cabernet Franc and Malbec. After the twenty-two days of maceration, the wine was aged in French oak barrels for nineteen months. The wine is ruby red in color with aromas of dark berry fruit such as blackberry, black currant and plums, followed by mineral undertones. The creamy and silky texture is framed by grained tannins. The freshness in the mouth is well-balanced, with aromas of dark berry fruits, coffee, cocoa and herbs. A long-lasting finish is followed by the aroma of bitter chocolate.
