Belvedere Heritage 176

Belvedere Heritage is an ode to the tradition and vodka’s past. Until the 19th century, Polish producers used the old technique of making malt using the process of drying rye in fire kiln. This technique gave vodka rich and characteristic aromas. With advances in technology, this technique was somewhat lost, and vodka became a synonym for "pure" and neutral drink.
With this vodka, Belvedere puts neutrality to the test and wants to show how rye, which is the very core of their brand, has its own character and can bring very distinctive aromas. Tradition is put on new clothes, rye is heated in ovens to 176 °F (80 °C) and hidden charms of the Polish rye are rediscovered - its rich depth, taste, and complexity. Heritage 176 is a sumptuous drink, full-bodied and very complex.
There is an intense smell of baked rye bread and walnuts on the nose, with notes of honey, allspice, and sweet biscuits. It is full-bodied in the mouth, rich and velvety. Toasted rye bread, nuts and creamy toffee are a great combination. The finish is long, smooth, and creamy. Nuts and allspice are in the perfect balance with the sweetness of the rye malt. Enjoy it "on the rocks" – with ice and garnished with a lemon zest, or as a new ingredient of mixed drinks.
