Although the Kolarić winery has profiled itself as the main producer of Pinot Gris, they did a superb job with its black cousin. After 2 years in oak barrels, their Pinot Noir has a vivid and clear ruby color. It is harmonious on the nose, with mixed notes of red and black berries and a little bit of herbal aromas. It is soft and harmonious in the mouth, medium bodied, with excellent freshness and rounded tannins.
