The wine is made from 100% Montepulciano d'Abruzzo grape variety. After destemming the grapes, maceration takes place on the skins for about 15–20 days, followed by classic red wine vinification in steel tanks. Partial aging in French oak barrels for about 20 months.
Intense ruby-red color with garnet reflections. The nose shows ripe red fruits, sour cherries, and currants, with vanilla notes accompanied by spicy notes of chocolate and pepper. Slightly tannic and persistent in the mouth, good structure.
