From the most southern Grand Cru vineyard of the Alsace region, Rangen, comes this remarkable Riesling. The vineyards are planted on south-facing slopes with volcanic soil rich in minerals and stones. Due to the steep terrain, harvesting is done exclusively by hand, and for safety reasons, pickers must be secured with ropes. The wine has a delicate pale yellow color with golden reflections. On the nose, Grand Cru Rangen reveals mineral notes beautifully complemented by aromas of menthol and eucalyptus, with a gentle touch of citrus such as lemon and lime. Pleasant freshness develops on the palate, accompanied by a silky texture and full-bodied flavor. The long-lasting finish is marked by herbal tones and lemon peel aromas.
