This wine comes from the Bordeaux sub-region of Saint-Émilion, where merlot has traditionally been the dominant variety. Many wines completely omit cabernet sauvignon; along with merlot, this wine contains only 15% of cabernet franc. Bright ruby red color, very complex aroma of cherries, ripe plums, blueberries and dried figs. The taste is elegant and balanced, with a long and lively finish. The wine was aged for 14 months in French oak barrels, giving it even more roundness.
