Bols Maraschino is a clear liquer made of candide cherries combined with warm hints of almond. It is made with destillate of fresh cherry juice. The unique flavor of this liquer is a base for popular cocktails like the Last Word and Holland House. Jerry Thomas has made it well known in the world of cocktals and also wrote about it in his „Bartender's Guide“ from 1862.
