Degrassi Pinot Noir comes from vineyards on white soil rich in minerals that resemble an amphiteater. The wine is primarily aged in small oak barrels for 18 months, and then another six months in a bottle. Ruby red color, with primarily aromas of red fruits such as strawberries, raspberries and currants. Later on, aromas of leather from aging in wood apear on the nose. Rich on the palate and fresh, with aromas of currant and smooth tannins. In the background, spicy notes of black pepper and dark chocolate appear. The finish is long and rich.
