Clai Brombonero is without a serious challenger Croatian most famous refosco wine. This should not be surprising even when you consider that it is organic because red wines are less experienced and they just look like some old-fashioned wines they once did, which is highly appreciated by the local audience. Very high extracts, close to some plavac mali from Pelješac, and with a high fermentation temperature, is extremely rich, dense, full of unusual animal notes, dried fruit, redness, dark tobacco and cherries baked in a biscuit.
