Among the more successful Croatian sweet wines, it is obtained from Merlot vines from the Korlat vineyard. The berries are dried on the vine, and the variety does not have a high tannin, so they are ultimately even more dusty, softer and silkier. It is obvious that the vine is under plenty of sun and develops a very high maturity before harvesting. This emphasizes the aromas of baked, dark fruit, such as biscuit with cherries, blackberries, sweet spices, cocoa, cinnamon, etc. The wine is not too sweet and does not tire the palate while drinking it.
