When you read or hear about the Šember wine family, you will hear from many sides that the guiding idea in making wine is that wine is made in the vineyard. This approach is not uncommon, but it is nice to see and praiseworthy, when then the wine tells us which is the vineyard where it was born, where it grew and matured. Along with Pavel, Mladina, Bresnica and others, Vučjak is one of the most valuable positions. South-southeastern exposure is and, in addition to Plešivica has a climate suitable for continental varieties, it also has a soil lime-marl and sufficiently alkaline, on which Pinot Noir can be well cultivated. Thus, this Pinot Noir has pronounced fruit aromas in its youth with a very careful touch of the barrel, but it is also ready to age for a few years when it delights with new and completely different dimensions.
