Stagnum wines represent the range of our best wines of the plavac mali variety. They are produced from the highest quality grapes from our old hand-cultivated vineyards from the southern slopes of the Pelješac Peninsula. The fermentation happens spontaneously using only indigenous yeasts, and aging takes place in large Slavonian oak barrels. The wine is unfiltered, with minimal sulfite content. Specific soil, centuries-old tradition and a completely natural way of production classify this wine into a special group of great natural wines of high elegance. Stagnum is a complex wine of pronounced bouquet, concentration and elegance. At the same time, it is strong and flexible, like a true gentleman. Stagnum was awarded 92 points at the International Wine Challenge Library Collection in 2006.
