Marrenon Blanc is a wine made from grapes grown in vineyards located on exceptional terroirs, with naturally reduced yields. The vineyards are situated on the slopes of the Luberon, mostly on clay-limestone soils. This is a blend of three grape varieties: Vermentino, White Grenache, and Clairette. Vermentino and Grenache are harvested at the same time and vinified together. 70% of the wine ferments and matures in stainless steel tanks, while the remaining 30% matures in large wooden barrels.
The wine is straw yellow. On the nose, floral aromas of white acacia flowers and hawthorn blossom are most prominent. The influence of oak is subtle and well-integrated. On the palate, notes of yellow peach, honeyed tones, and sweet spices emerge.
