DOMAINE BELLEVILLE PULIGNY MONTRACHET LES BOUDRIERES
Les Boudrieres is a parcel named after the word "wet" (boudro). It is located in Pouligny-Montrachet, near the La Lauche River, which allows soil moisture. With a higher content of clay, moisture is also maintained well during water shortages. Despite the age of 55, the vine is still pruned and buds removed to reduce yields. This plot deliberately targets richer wines that are almost full bodied and if alcohol is 1% higher, that would certainly be the case. One third of the barrels are new, the aging is slightly longer - 16 months. It is golden in color with occasional green reflection. Hawthorn flower, almond cream on the nose, but still green apple. The nose is very complete, fresh-ripe with ripe grapes and hazelnuts and with citrus and green apples. The second and third noses are Werter's candy, flint, hot croissant and butter. The archetypal Burgundy.
