The wine is made from specially selected grapes from the best and oldest southern sites of Hvar. The average yield per vine is 0.5 kg. It matures in new 225-liter barrique barrels. French, American and Croatian barrels are used interchangeably. The wine is aged in the bottle for another six months. The wine is dark ruby in color, with rich and complex aromas that give the impression of prunes and vanilla. Rich and powerful tannin structure, fiery aftertaste with a lasting persistence.
