Valenta Sauvignon blanc
Istria and Primorje, Croatia
We cannot recommend the Valenta Sauvignon blanc enough. There is a pleasant surprise hidden in this bottle. The distinctive varietal features of sauvignon, not overly boisterous, with balanced aromas and a wide variety of herbal and vegetable notes, none of them overpowering. The whole aromatic presentation is stable and set to a minimum but sufficient amount of residual sugar. In comparative tastings with other sauvignons made by local winemakers, there is a slight difference in the profile of minerality, which is generously attributed to the terroir.
