Judri Sauvignon is one of the most recognizable wines of the Fantinel winery and a true expression of the Collio terroir. It comes from the vineyards of Tenuta Sant’Helena, located near the Judri (Iudrio) stream, a natural border between the provinces of Udine and Gorizia, from which the wine takes its name. This unique position, at the crossroads of Mediterranean and Alpine influences, gives the wine its distinctive freshness, aromatic precision, and pronounced mineral character. The grapes are harvested by hand, and after a short cold maceration, fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. In the glass, Judri displays a brilliant straw-yellow color with subtle green reflections. The bouquet is intense, refined, and layered, offering characteristic notes of yellow bell pepper, tomato leaf, and fresh aromatic herbs, interwoven with nuances of ripe peach, citrus fruit, and delicate floral tones. On the palate, the wine is dry, harmonious, and medium-bodied, with beautifully balanced freshness. The texture is smooth and almost silky, while the pronounced minerality from the limestone and marl soils, typical of Collio, adds depth and leads to a long, clean finish.
