The use of amphorae in the process of winemaking has contributed to raising the quality of maceration. For this type of vinification, we have reserved grapes from our most prestigious vineyard on the Stancija hill. The white clay soil feeds the Istrian malvasia vine with the ingredients that make it so special. Mulching grapes in amphorae, prolonged fermentation, resting the young wine without removing grape peels until spring, and pressing are all traditional methods by which "grapes are transformed into wine", and not by which "man produces wine". The grapes that grow from the soil give their juice back to the soil in order to be turned into wine. And finally, the maturing of wine in wooden barrels favors the development of a radiant amber color. Amfora Malvazija is recommended for lovers of authentic and genuine wines. This wine reveals a noble origin, inviting you to taste it in small sips and to think about the simple values that the soil offers.
